the one thing that attracted me to this player is that it plays many different types of video direct from a memory card, it worked fine for the 1st movie i watched however when i attempted to play a mpeg 4 file it wont even recognise that anything is on the card.
it wouldnt bother me that much if it werent for the fact its got MPEG 4 Video written on the player itself!
apart from this ive had no problems with it, it looks gr8 and dvd playback is very good.
its says in the book that it takes up to 512mb cards but it worked fine with my 2gb sd card, brilliant for playing music direct from a memory card!
mine came with a uk plug adaptor im pleased to say, all in all probably not worth having it shipped from germany

First, no UK plug, comes with a euro style two pin? I hope this changes if Xoro expect to sell big in the UK.
The default setup is non legible if you have a nice big screen, so trying to set this up from the box is hit and miss ploughing through the blurred menus until you hit the one that brings up a clear legible screen. Upscaling is OK don't expect HD clarity but sure is better than standard DVD. A nice slim box, but the DVD tray is very flimsy, all in all, ok! i have seen cheaper boxes that have the same DVD spec at less cost, so if you are not interested in the USB connection, don't bother.

Well i just got this today and must say im extremely dissapointed. Having really done my homework and knew what i was buying, i wanted a box i could hook up a harddrive to and play my avi divx xvid files on. The remote and box itself LOOKS supercool. 5.1 Dolby outputs crammed with features etc etc, yes its all here apart from what i wanted. Having followed the instruction, format to fat 32 set active and primary, the hard drive is only SOMETIMES seen, playback is juttery on those occassions, load times....forget about it. [...]. If however your just after a dvd player which outputs good sound and plays just about anything from a disk, this is probably your box. But if your wanting to go down a usb 2 with harddrive route. STAY AWAY!
