If you like black and white DVD's, you will love this DVD. Anything that is not strictly 100% UK region you will struggle to gain a colour picture. After days of research I finally chose whis DVD. What a waste of time that was. AVOID!!!

This is simply a superb product at a fantastic price with four free DVD's to boot. My only critisism is a lack of SCART lead, but the pros far out way the one con. Simple to set up and had the first DVD playing 10 minutes after delivery. !!!
A Quality product at bargain bucket prices.

Ended up watching Spiderman within an hour of setting it up - set up was practically 'plug & play'. Just seen the same model on another website for £124 with no free dvd's! Looking forward to Gladiator but may have to find suitable family to adopt Stuart Little.
PS - don't forget to get another scart lead. Audio cables included in box.
You won't regeret buying this DVD player.

When I first saw this deal I thought there had to be some catch. A great DVD player with four generally good DVD's. But there wasn't. A top quality, brand name, DVD player with 4 dvd's. The DVD's are great. They've all been released in the last couple of years and are family videos which suited me great. The DVD player itself has no faults. It's stylish, never skips your Dvd's and is so compact. It's not one of those big, bulky ones that you would usually get. If your looking for a great DVD player, then look no further and the dvd's are a bonus at this great price!!!!

Sony does it yet again.
This is a superb little player. Excellent colour definition, precise sound steering.
The setup is supremely simple.
The only complaint, is that the Infra Red Eye is very easily blinded by natural sunlight.
The unit resides with a Yamaha amp, and a Sony Sky Digibox, all of which behave superbly in daylight, whereas the DVD player will ignore the remote, until you shield the player from sunlight.
In its defence, however, the player only has problems on very sunny days, and you will probably watch movies in a darkened room anyway.
The free films are an added bonus, the children watched Spiderman, and my wife drooled over Gladiator.

So - to sum up - Excellent value for money. Great Picture. Great Sound.
